Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust was established in 1971 by our visionary founders – Sri Uggersen Goel ji, Sri Hari Gopal ji Agarwal, and Sri Ashok Kumar Goel ji – eminent philanthropists whose dedication and foresight laid the foundation for the Trust’s remarkable journey and growth.
Free Distribution of 101 Artificial Limbs sponsored by Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust organised by Mukti: M.S. Dadha Foundation at Geeta Bhavan Hall, Gopalapuram, Chennai, today. The event was graced by Tmt. M. Lakshmi, I.A.S., Commissioner for Welfare of the Differently Abled, was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
This initiative saw the distribution of 101 artificial limbs and callipers to the amputees who are underprivileged individuals, many of whom came from various districts in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states. This event marks the third year of the limb camp, bringing the total number of limbs distributed so far to 253. Additionally, the Trust has undertaken various projects, including solemnizied over 600 free mass marriages for differently-abled persons, building toilets and bathrooms for girls’ hostel, providing scholarships to students who are from poor background and donating hospital equipment’s to support healthcare for the poor. Conducting regular free medical camps in multiple specialisations. Conducting regular Free classes in Yoga, Sanskrit, Gita,Hindi . Welfare of Transgender communities. Through these initiatives, the Trust has touched countless lives, offering hope and support to those in need.
“Each individual has the right to dream and seek equal opportunities, but life sometimes presents challenges that are harder to overcome. Whether through an accident or illness, the reality of living with a disability is tough. Our Trust aims to empower individuals by providing free artificial limbs and callipers, helping them regain mobility and independence,” said Shri. Manu Goel, Managing Trustee of Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust.

Dadha Foundation, an institution committed to raising awareness and building self-confidence among physically challenged individuals. Our combined efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and the empowerment of people with disabilities.”
